Wednesday Meal Ministry
We provide dinner from 4:45 to 6:15 pm on Wednesdays during the school year for all members of our congregation. Visitors are always encouraged to join us for dinner, and welcomed to our 40 minute contemporary worship service after dinner starting at 6:30 pm. Some weeks there will be no Wednesday meals, education or worship service due to holidays. The first break will be October 24th, when Family Ministries will be hosting the annual “Trunk or Treat” event. Since the next Wednesday after that is October 31st, it was decided to take a Wednesday school and meal break to accommodate families trick or treating together. If the schools are canceled for inclement weather, the church will also be closed and no meal will be served. To keep up to date on the calendar, please visit the church website calvaryrapidcity.org

Please join us for a Ministry Fair on Wednesday, September 26th in the Narthex from 4:30 to 6:30. Representatives from all the various ministries of the church will be there to share information on how you can get involved in church activities. The Wednesday Meal Ministry will have a table set up and will answer all your questions about volunteering in the kitchen or dining room. We need lots more volunteers to help us bake, chop vegetables, fill condiment containers, wash dishes, etc. On the job training is provided! Come and see how we make a meal for 400+ people. Our hours are flexible and the rewards are great.
