Only 16 more days until the start of the 2015-16 Education and Worship schedule for Wednesday evenings at Calvary Lutheran Church. We’ll see you back in the dining room on September 16th, 4:45-6:15 pm, and in worship from 6:30-7:00 pm. (The menu will be coming soon on a separate post.) All Calvary members are encouraged to come and enjoy the fellowship time, and please bring friends along. All are welcome here.
It’s been a pretty quick four months since we finished last year with a festive Aloha! Luau at the end of April. The food and the smiles were plentiful:
It’s fitting to end this blog post with Aloha, because it’s an ending for me as the volunteer coordinator of the Wednesday meal program, and a new beginning for Karla Mitzel as Hospitality Coordinator, recently hired to join the staff of Calvary Lutheran Church. More info about Karla coming here soon. The staff and volunteers at Calvary look forward to her leadership and skills in the kitchen as we move forward into the new year. I will continue as a volunteer in the kitchen on Tuesdays and Wednesdays whenever I’m in town, and I’ll keep the blog updated with menus, recipes and photos. Aloha!
