Sending you heartfelt thanks from Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield Indiana! We cooked for about 275 last night. “A”meal was salsa chix, Mexican rice, green chili creamed corn, chips/salsa and churros. “B” meal was sloppy joes, waffle fries, the corn and churros. Remember we serve cafeteria style. Anyway about 100 signed up for the sloppy joes and I made your recipe for the first time with many compliments! I gave you all of the credit, and wanted to pass along how thankful I am for the recipes you’ve shared. I look forward to trying many more! My favorite part was that after I completed the recipe it was spot on! It didn’t require the normal “doctoring” that most if the recipes I try do! It was perfect! What do you think is the favorite meal you serve? Ours would be cube steak/gravy, followed by fried chicken, lasagna and pork chops served any way! Pizzaburgers are a big hit, too for the b meals. We r off next week for spring break then only 4 meals left before summer break.
    Thanks again, my kindred spirit!

    • Your comments are much appreciated Jill and I’m glad you had success with the sloppy joes. We’re going to make them again next week because they are a good way to use some surplus ground beef we have in the freezer. We’re winding down too, only 3 more meals to go. I’ll do a survey at the end and I’ll do a posting with the results of the favorites or least favorites that we serve. Roast beef and fried chicken are always our highest attendance.
